Experimental set up
- Two fuel cell modules (45 W) at two sites in the forest
- Joint supply of the soil moisture monitoring station and the leachate monitoring station at each site
- Programmable switching between both stations
- Timer module for alternating charge of the buffer batteries from the two monitoring stations
- Equipped with 2 x 10 L methanol to supply the enviLog data logger and vacuum control for a period of approx. 2 years without additional energy input
- Installation of all technology in a thermally insulated aluminium box with special paint
- Installation and commissioning by ecoTech
